Creative Expedition: Mam Tor to Losehill

18 November: Mam Tor to Losehill
An early meet in Castleton on a lovely crisp Autumn morning.  This expedition may challenge the group both physically and creatively. The route can be difficult if you haven't walked in the Peaks before and I am asking for sketches and photographs of the landscape, or in response to the landscape at certain points along the way.  This is a completely new concept for the group who have never tried recording the outdoors in this way, many hadn't been to the Peaks before.
The explorers gather for a slog on the hill

Taking a short break on a decent from Mam Tor

Well deserved lunch at Hollins Cross

Well done, made it to Losehill, one of the highest peaks in the area!

What an amazing experience with loads of reference materials produced and only one wet and muddy explorer!
